Social Media Specialist

Rebranding W&K: With the global pandemic in 2020, Walk & Knock, a non-profit organization knew they had to adapt to the guidelines. This project spanned from May to December 2020. This remote collaborative project saw the creation of videos, infographics, logos, announcement cards, social media content, and other media to rebrand Clark County’s largest and oldest annual food drive and include its new initiative Drive & Drop. My role was ‘Social Media Promotions’, creating an excel sheet deliverable for W&K. Each week my team and I charted out a calendar, captions, hashtags, and studied the increase of public engagement. I am truly honored to have worked with such a great and meaningful company.

ACNH Case Study: This was my first social media case study on Animal Crossing: New Horizon (ACNH). My partner Mykell Sloan and I studied Nintendo’s social media and watched as ACNH launched one of the most successful video game launches during COVID-19. We started with taking daily screenshots of all media posts, analyzed the marketing, hashtag usage, compared this game versus similar games, and wrote out our findings.

LAMI: Latah Alliance on Mental Illness (LAMI) is a non-profit housing that has six individuals with severe mental illnesses that have struggled to live independently. I worked remotely with three others that provided LAMI with deliverables. LAMI is a small non-profit with dreams of helping others reach their full potential. This project is still a work in progress and will finish up around December 18th.
